SYNTAX VS. GRAMMAR
Grammar is a set of principles and rules which govern how language is structured. It prescribe how language should be used. Meanwhile, syntax is a set of principles and rules that states how sentences should be structured and ordered. It describes how the words should be ordered. Grammar is a wider term used in everyday language consumption, while syntax is branch of linguistics.
SYNTAX VS. MORPHOLOGY
The purpose of morphology is based on the phonological awareness. Student will know better what they hear in the language when they know words and vocabulary previously. It will also help students to comprehend reading better, as they know to identify words and their meanings.
The purpose of syntax in language teaching it will help students to read and write with awareness of correct sentences. For those who are going to become writers, it will help them to use rhetorical or literary effects.
